| 中文描述 | TRICHURIS VULPIS是造成狗的結腸炎常見的原因.這寄生蟲常在盲腸和近端結腸被發現,很少出現在遠端結腸.因為主動的感染糞便中會出現少或甚至沒有卵.診斷要藉由重複的糞便檢查,直腸鏡,和對從結腸黏膜皺折所取下的物質檢查.感染貓的並不是因為T. VULPIS,曾有案例出現是因為TRICHURIS CAMPANULA 和 T. SERRATA. |

| 英文描述 | TRICHURIS VULPIS is a common cause of colitis in the dog. The parasite is usually found in the cecum and proximal colon, or rarely the distal colon. Because active infection may occur with few or no fecal ova, dx depends on repeated fecal exams, proctoscopy, and examination of material collected from mucosal folds of the rectum. Infections in felines are not caused by T. VULPIS, but have been reported with TRICHURIS CAMPANULA and T. SERRATA. |
